|

Bjorn Steinbach is an up-and-coming South African actor, who is best known for his role as Corporal Michael Stinetorf in HBO's original 7-part mini-series Generation Kill.
Born and raised in Port Elizabeth, Bjorn graduated from Grey High School and went on to study psychology at UCT before enrolling at City Varsity to pursue an acting career. He got his first break with Generation Kill in 2008 after his first project, a short film called Small Killing, was filmed and aired in South Africa. Generation Kill gave him the opportunity to follow his dream by studying at the William Esper Studio in NYC, where he excelled.
More recently, Cosmopolitan Calendar's 'Mr. December' has been racking up a serious filmography with a spate of international and local productions, including Natalee Holloway and The Lost Future. On stage, Steinbach just starred in the internationally acclaimed theatre show, The Mercy Seat and co-produced Fat Pig, a comedy starring Colin Moss and Chanelle De Jager.
Steinbach is a handsome, talented and determined actor, who is constantly honing his craft, having starred alongside some of Hollywood's finest. A star-in-the-making, this new generation South African heartthrob is clearly on the road to international stardom, making Bjorn Steinbach a name to remember!
